At the Drive-In!

At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command

I discovered At the Drive-In early last summer when I first heard the extremely catchy song on Relationship of Command, One Armed Scissor. The last album ATD-I produced before breaking up and my favorite. A must have.

At The Drive-In - In/Casino/Out
One of ATD-I's better Ep's containing only six songs. Stand outs are For Now... We Toast and Napoleon Solo.

At The Drive-In - El Gran Orgo
Another EP and my personal favorite album of At the Drive-In. Dowload this and you may find a new favorite band.

The Beatles

Here are The Beatles. Once we get more of their albums uploaded, this post will be edited with the albums. So check back every once in a while.

Sgt. Peppers is The Beatles' eighth album, and is regarded by many as their best/most influential piece of work. It was released in 1967, and it even ranked number 1 in Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Albums of all Time" in 2003. Download it if you like classic rock.
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

The Beatles' seventh album, Revolver showcased the band's musical developement and growth that would be greater seen on later albums. It includes the standout Paul McCartney song Eleanor Rigby and I'm Only Sleeping.

Catch 22 - Keasbey Nights

Catch 22's first album and there best. Written almost entirely by Ska figurehead Thomas Kalnoky this is widely considered as the best ska album ever made.

New York based Interpol's third studio album, leaked onto the internets.
Interpol- Our Love to Admire

Decemberists, Incubus, and Muse

Crane Wife is The Decemberists' latest album that came out earlier in 2007. I recommend it as a whole album, or failing that just for Summersong and The Island.

Heres some classic rock

I thought the blog could use a little classic rock and these are some of my all time favorite albums.

Led Zeppelin IV

Frontman Tomas Kalnoky is now the last remaining original member of this 6 piece ska outfit. Released in 2003 to much critical acclaim, this is still the band's latest legit CD (not including the remake of Keasbey Nights in 2006).
Streetlight Manifesto- Everything Goes Numb

This is all of the Violent Femmes you could ever want.

The Pixies' third album, and probably their most impressive. Download it for the standout tracks Debaser, I Bleed, Tame, etc. You wont be disappointed.

Atmosphere- Overcast!

Radiohead- Kid A

If you don't know who Radiohead is, then please get off of my internet. :)
I just got this CD like, a week ago. Nine plays all the way through later, it's my favorite CD ever.

Radiohead- Kid A

Stephen Malkmus- Face the Truth

Stephen Malkmus- Face the Truth

Stephen Malkmus from Pavement fame's first solo album. A mixture of very interesting beats and worth a listen.

Ratatat- Ratatat

You my have heard this instrumental act's song 17 Years already because it was popular on the internet last summer. Ratatat's first, self-titled CD consists of eleven instrumental tracks, which range from rock to funk to mellow. It sounds good, definitely for this summer.

Minus the Bear- Planet of Ice

Leaked! Personally, I think this new MtB LP, available this August, is great. When the band lost keyboardist/producer Matt Bayles, I was skeptical to find out what this glitch rock fivesome would sound like. The answer? Well, not a hell of a lot different. I definitely recommend it.
